Dollars For Dirt

Help us give away some money!

Each month, we select three groups who are doing excellent things in MTB in Australia. We put $600 on the table, and we ask our customers to vote to decide who gets the funds. Each group gets at least $150, but the group with the highest votes at the end of the month scores $300!

Snowy Mountains MTB Club

"The Snowy Mountains MTB Club is a small club in our 2nd year. Our main focus at the club is trail development, however we have just held our first race event which was successful! We'd love to put $300 towards tools for trail building and maintenance!"

Friends of Bruce Ridge (ACT)
https://www.facebook.com/Friends-of-Bruce-Ridge-210767635615367/

"Our local trails have been plagued by bad weather since May 2016 - heavy rain and strong winds have caused many trails to be closed all winter and yet to be officially reopened. These trail closures have really stretched the volunteer base - clearing trails, fallen trees, performing maintainence - and seen increased traffic on the open trails. $300 would go along way to saying thanks for all the efforts by the volunteers - these guys deserve a medal for their efforts in clearing the trails of fallen trees with tree trunks bigger then telegraph poles and for clearing/draining pot holes where they could. I'd love to organise a BBQ and drinks for the volunteers one weekend to say thanks on behalf of all the riders who ride Bruce Ridge!"

Nerang Trail Care Alliance (QLD)
http://www.facebook.com/nerangtrailcare

"Nerang Trail Care Alliance is a volunteer group of riders tasked with maintaining and improving the trail network in Nerang National Park on the Gold Coast. It's a big job and so we are currently fundraising for a couple of projects that will see professional builders contracted to do some cool new tasks. These tasks will fast track the authorisation of some 'illegal' trails and open Nerang up to a broader spectrum of riders!"
