After years of small computer screens, CatEye finally listened to customer feedback!
The CatEye Padrone features an 85% larger screen and 22% thinner profile than the CatEye Urban Wireless! This is perfect for all-mountain riders and riders who have trouble reading smaller screens. The Padrone reports all your standard functions and is wireless for a clean look and function.
Reports the following:
Wireless, no messy wires.
Includes 2x CR2032 batteries. 1 for computer, 1 for the sensor.
ProsLarge readout, Simple operation (when it works)
ConsReadout operates inconsistently., Computer dislodges from bar extension when going over bumps., No safety loop to prevent computer being flung from the bike.
Large readout is good; easy
Large readout is good; easy to read. But readout shows inconsistently: sometimes readout inexplicably doesn't show speed. But readout comes off bar extension when going over bumps. Annoying that I have to use rubber bands as a fail-safe.
