Easy to get in, easy to get out, perfect for those moto-style corners where roosting the spectators just has to be done. Coming in hot to a nasty rock garden hot and unclipped? No need to back off. 4mm steel pins have all the grip of your old flats.
Works great on everything from your trail bike, all the way up to a full downhill bike.

Gone is the half plastic/half aluminium body. It's been replaced by a lightweight, yet super durable fully aluminium body.

2015 Description:
The Crank Brothers Mallet 3 uses a aluminium outer platform for strength and an composite inner platform to keep things light. The cleat wings are carbon steel for durability. The Mallet 3 spins on needle rollers and cartridge bearings, ensuring pedalling efficiency.
The Mallet 2 uses a 9/16 axle and will fit any aluminium or carbon crank.
