Carry your basics without that sweaty pack!
Although there are tons of great packs available, nothing beats the comfort and freedom of not wearing a sweaty pack! The Evoc Hip Pack is the perfect compromise between choosing a bottle or hydration pack. Including a 1.5-litre bladder and 3-litres of total storage, this bag is perfect for riders who need to carry the bare minimum. With a separate tool compartment and the ability to carry a bottle for extra water, this small pack can support you on your trail rides.
I have been using this regularly while out riding. Every time in fact since it arrived. It just happened to arrive in the mail on New Bike Day and I have been riding as much as I can fit in. The low centre of gravity and the clear back have helped greatly with my riding comfort. The adjustable "cinch" straps on the sides are excellent for securing it to my lower back for the down hills and it also makes for a simple adjustment as you use the water in the bladder. I have found that with a full bladder it is a little difficult to fit a lot of stuff in, but as it is only a 2l bladder I have not needed much more than a multi tool and tyre spares, including a tube. I can fit enough for a few hours of riding and would think that in only the hottest and hardest conditions would you potentially find it lacking for up to a 4 hr ride.
I hate wearing a backpack but when touring the extra water is useful so i bought this. I find that while the storage and adjustability are really good the sides tend to dig in. You have to adjust add your water goes down or it sags too much and can be frustrating. The house is great and the little magnet clip on the belt is clever you can even move it to your jersey or where ever suits. The hose routes weird into the pack, there are 2 compartments where tje bladder goes and for whatever reason the hose has to go over the divider, would be better if it came in via rear pouch as it then pulls down the divider and you cant really get much gear in the other half. Overall i think for day rides where you only need essentials plus water this would be much better, but if you want to load it fully try something else. Elastic would be better than seatbelt style for the belt. I am perservering as i think with some mods to the belt it will be better. Anything to stop the clips digging in.

Evoc Hip Pack Race 3L
I really like this product it is much better for my back than the backpack style I was wearing before. Sometimes the strap across the middle annoys me but I think that's more due to my stomach getting in the way. Overall highly recommend it. Water bladder is perfect size.
