Description

Combining Fox's DPS and X2 technologies to give you the best of both worlds. The DPX2 is the ultimate trail shock that combines DPS XC efficiency and X2 DH performance. The 2021 model features an entirely new base valve design to improve upon its already impeccable performance. The Dual Piston Base Valve has dedicated compression and lockout circuits for each of the three modes—Open, Medium, and Firm, with a further 10 clicks of adjustability in the Open setting. The DPX2 also features the recirculating damper design found in the X2 which ensures that the internals are kept well lubricated for excellent small bump sensitivity, great mid-stroke damping support, and better control on the climbs.

Who is this for: The DPX2 is intended for use on Trail bikes but is equally at home on an aggressive XC setup or a long travel All Mountain bike. It likes climbing almost as much as it likes descending.

Spring type: This shock uses the EVOL air spring which uses a larger negative air volume to create a linear spring curve that delivers plushness off the top, extra mid-stroke support and a more tunable bottom out.

Compression damper adjustments: The damper offers a 3 position lever to allow you to switch between Open, Medium, and Firm modes to suit the trail conditions. The Open mode also features a 10 position adjustment so you can fine-tune the amount of low-speed compression you'd like in this mode.

Rebound damper adjustments: The rebound circuit allows for low-speed rebound to be adjusted.

Volume adjustability: The DPX2 shock allows for the mid-stroke support and bottom-out resistance to be tuned via the installation of air volume spacers.
