Maxxis have developed the new Griffin as a fast-rolling tyre for use on dry and hardpack downhill courses. The tread pattern is less aggressive than other tires in their linup, but still uses the durable casing Maxxis DH tires are known for. The knobs are smaller and more tightly spaced, with heavily ramped leading edges to keep rolling resistance down on tracks with lots of pedaling.
Please note - Wire bead tyres are sent rolled up to minimise shipping costs. The wires in the beads shouldn't get bent during this process, however, if they arrive with a bend, just bend them back til they are straight. It won't affect the performance of the tyre at all.
