Getting a flat with a tubeless tyre need not be an infuriating, race losing experience. Now, with the Sahmurai S.W.O.R.D. you can plug a tyre in under 20 seconds and be back on the bike and rolling again.
With the Reamer and Plug tools safely stowed inside your handlebar, they are always with you and ready when you need them the most. To use, simply unwind each bar plug then use the reaming tool to clean out the hole. Next, push the plug tool with plug loaded up, through the hole and remove the tool. For really big holes you can use multiple plugs, however, one plug is typically enough for most holes.
The kit includes:
1 x Bar Plug / Reamer tool
1 x Bar Plug / Plug Tool
5 x Replacement Plugs
The kit weighs just 22g and will seal holes from 3.5-5mm. The plug will last for the life of the tyre.
The Sahmurai S.W.O.R.D. Fits into handlebars from 17-21mm internal diameters.
fell out of my handle bars within the first 30km ride. couldn't keep them in. using raceface carbon bars. would not get this product again. Looks good and the idea is great but i just spent the entire ride checking my bar ends to make sure they were not coming loose
I like the idea but these are absolutely rubbish. I cut ends out of my grips and installed in my bars as recommended. Literally within 5 minutes of starting my first ride, I nudged a tree with my bars and the end snapped out of the Shizmurai. Do not buy these. Now i have a useless puncture kit and need to buy new grips to replace the ones I cut the end out of!!! Not happy Jan.
This is a great product to use but I wouldn't actually fit them to the bars in the future, as I've already lost the reamer on the first ride I went on. And it it gets quite annoying having to check you haven't lost them every time you put your bike down or rub against a tree or something. TIP: keep them in the tube it comes in, if its too long to store in your bag just cut it shorter, better than losing them.
