    New chain for new drivetrain

    Easy to fit, love quicklinks. Only travelled a couple hundred kms with it combined with micro shift 1x9 Advent but so far no complaints.

    It's just a chain, what can you say? Works well.

    Always used SRAM chains on recommendation of my LBS as they apparently last longer and stretch less than KMC. Always had a good run with X1 11 spd so thought I'd try the PC971 for my 9 spd conversion. Only thing I don't like with SRAM chains is the nasty sticky waxy stuff they coat it with. Might be fine in Wales but in dry environments everything just sticks to it like the proverbial. The first thing I'd recommend is to soak it in de-greaser over night before handling and then lube it with a good chain lube like Bike Milk or your preferred lube of choice.
