Dollars For Dirt

Are you part of a mountain bike club or group that could use a few extra bucks to continue being awesome? We’d love to help!

Introducing the Dollars For Dirt program!

Each month we select three groups who are doing excellent things in MTB in Australia. We’re thinking - trail care groups, local mountain bike clubs and other bike programs.

We put $600 on the table, and ask our customers that month to vote for their favourite group via a poll after they check out - this determines who gets $300, and the other two groups will get $150 each.

In other words - everyone wins a prize!

Plus your club or group will be seen by everyone who checks out on the site during the month, as well as in our emails and social media.

THE DETAILS

Who can apply:

Any group doing great things for MTB In Australia!

For example -

  • Trail care groups
  • Mountain Bike Clubs
  • Mountain bike programs (e.g. run through schools or community groups)
  • Groups that promote MTB

Who can’t apply:

  • Individuals or personal projects - sorry, this funding is only for groups.
  • Groups based outside Australia
  • All applications are at our final discretion.

If your group is selected, we’ll send you an email to let you know, and let you know when your group is going to be featured. You might not hear from us right away, but we may we’ll keep all applications on file and work through them each month.

HOW DO I VOTE?

Easy! First, jump online and place an order. After you confirm and pay for your order, you’ll reach the Order Confirmation web page. There you’ll find a section dedicated to our program and you can vote for your favourite organisation (Remember, each of the groups for that month gets something, but the group with the most votes gets the biggest share of the funds!).

HOW ARE THE FUNDS USED?

We let clubs decide where, how and when they use funds. We trust clubs and groups to know the best way to spend the money to help their local MTB community, and we're stoked to hear about some of the great ways the funding has been put to use -
